Jungpana Wonder is an ORGANIC TEA from the farms of JUNGPANA TEA ESTATE. This tea comes from the clonal plantation in MAHALDERAM TEA ESTATE which is an out division of Jungpana Tea Estate. Teas from this section have a very distinct flavor because of the high elevation and macro climatic conditions. The soil of this area is loamy and the air has lot of moisture. All this adds up to make a tea which has a voice of its own and is different from the other gardens.

The long curly uncut dry leaves are dark shade of green. When brewed for 4 minutes we get a light yellow (pale green) liquor which has a prominent aroma of  soft wood and floral like jasmine. The aroma is very tempting and one cannot resist having a sip immediately. The sip is a blissful experience. We can immediately say that this tea has been made with special care. We get the notes of jasmine and woody taste in the palate which is prominent and it activates the taste buds. The finish is sweet with a floral aftertaste. The infusion is bright green where we can see the 2 leaves and a but intact. The aroma is strong and has a feel like ripe passion fruit.

Overall we can say that this is a perfect JUNGPANA CLONAL TEA  and is among the best lots we have procured this year. It is a very limited quantity tea and is a must try for all connoisseurs.

• DRY LEAVES: Green long twisted leaves with floral and woody aroma. .
• LIQUOR: Pale greenish yellow with sweet fruity jasmine like aroma.
• INFUSION: Bright green whole leaves with fruity aroma like ripe passion fruit.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:

Fresh water brought to 1^st Boil (90C). Add 1 tea spoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 3.5 minutes to 4 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. Second and third steep gives best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
