Goomtee Classic Spring is the finest specimen of traditional Darjeeling First Flush. We come across a lot of teas and get to taste every variety from many gardens. Some teas are good, some ordinary. Very few teas are worth the extraordinary or splendid category. Probably when everything goes just perfect during the entire process of plucking to packing the extraordinary is made. We can say that this is just that extraordinary tea we can ever get from Darjeeling.

The leaf appearance in itself so appealing. The greenish bloom with adequate tips is a visual delight. The leaf is so delicate and tender that we do the least possible handling to avoid any damage. The aroma is a strong floral aroma with hints of mossy green. When brewed for 4 minutes we get bright golden liquor. The aroma is strong floral and a little grassy towards the end. Every sip is a burst of floral bouquet in the mouth. The flavour is so prominent it leaves a honey coating on the palate which can be felt for a long time.

Overall a clean well balanced tea which is surely a PERFECT FIRST FLUSH.

• DRY LEAVES: Uncut-twisted dark greenish black leaves with floral aroma.
• LIQUOR: Bright golden with floral jasmine like aroma.
• INFUSION: Olive green with few brown whole leaves with floral aroma.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:

Fresh water brought to 1^st Boil (90C). Add 1 tea spoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 4 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. Second and third steep gives best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
