Glenburn Moonshine is our first offering from the prestigious Glenburn Tea Estate. Glenburn is a very famous garden of Darjeeling. This garden is famous not only for their wonderful teas but also for the TEA TOURISM they offer. Every year thousands of tea lovers from all over the world visit this prestigious estate and enjoy the Himalayan Champagne along with the mesmerizing beauty of this estate.
This tea has been made during the early Spring from the Av2 clone variety. Very tender two leaf and a bud plucked by expert hands are sent for withering. Then they are HAND-ROLLED by tender hands which add to the delicacy of this tea.
The dry leaves are long uncut leaves with prominent silver buds. The aroma of the leaves is very floral and has a woody. When brewed for 5 minutes it gives golden liquor with prominent thick fruity aroma mixed with wet pine wood aroma. The taste is probably the best you can get from a Darjeeling clonal tea. Sweet fruity peach flavour mixed with the woody tone is just the right combination.

- DRY LEAVES: Dark green long curly leaves with plenty silver tips.
- LIQUOR: Bright golden with sweet floral aroma.
- INFUSION: Olive green with whole leaves and fruity aroma.
STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:
Fresh water brought to 1st Boil (90C). Add 1 tea spoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 5 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. Second and third steep gives best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
