Description
Castleton Spring China Delight is an extra ordinary specimen of Chinary Darjeeling Tea. This tea has been manufactured by the prestigious Castleton Tea Estate which is owned by the Goodricke Group Ltd. Teas from Castleton are always special but this particular lot is exceptional. This tea is among the very early production of this estate and is available in very limited quantity. Very fine leaves were plucked with delicate hands and then processed under the guidance of the estate Manager Mr. R. K. Sinha who is a veteran in Darjeeling Tea. His expertise and years of experience combined together made this tea possibility.
The dry leaves are in bright green shades and are very finely rolled. The aroma is very tempting and we can smell the shades of chamomile and berries. When brewed for full 4 minutes, we get a perfect bright yellowish golden liquor with a very tempting and crisp aroma. The sip starts with a sweet fragrant feel at the tip of our tongue and as soon as the liquor hits our palate the surprise begins. There is a burst of flavors. We can feel each layer becoming more prominent as we keep sipping the tea. We get the feel of a fruity peachy flavor combined with berries. The sip ends with a floral finish and we can feel the citrus minty flavor at the edges of our palate. As we keep sipping the flavor becomes more and more appealing and it keeps you craving for more. We are sure you will not be able to stop at just 1 cup of this masterpiece. There is a hint of astringency which we can feel as an aftertaste.
We feel that our catalogue would have been incomplete without this masterpiece. We love this tea and surely this will be loved by all Darjeeling tea connoisseurs.
