Avongrove Summer Euphoria Classic – Second Flush – 2019 – (Exotic Clonal) is a perfect summer Av2 clonal tea we have for you. From the past few years this tea is becoming our favourite. Avongrove Tea Estate has been consistent in maintaining their quality every year they keep getting better.

This tea has been made from very fine plucking of  pure Av2 clone bushes and has been manufactured under the supervision of the estate manager. The dry leaves are a visual delight. Its dark coppery with lots of golden tips. The appearance is overall very delicate and will make you crave to have a taste. The aroma is like roasted almonds. When brewed for full 4 minutes, we get a bright golden liquor which has a enchanting aroma. The sip starts with a little fizzy citric note on the tip of the tongue and as it hits the palate we get a burst of flavors. The trademark woody note is very prominent mixed with floral and citrus notes. It is not at all astringent and the aftertaste is delicate.

Overall we rate this tea with full marks and is the best Av2 summer tea we have had in a long time.

• LIQUOR:Bright golden liquor with sweet woody and citrus aroma.
• INFUSION:Bright coppery whole leaves with a prominent floral and woody aroma.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:

Fresh water brought to 1^st Boil (90C). Add 1 tea spoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 4 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. Second and third steep gives best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
