Arya Spring China is an organic tea from Arya Tea Estate. Arya is known for producing some of the most exotic teas of Darjeeling and their teas are loved by connoisseurs all over the world. The year 2023 has been exceptionally good in terms of quality. However, due to prolonged dry weather during the winters and there being no rainfall the produced quantity was very less. The bushes were in lot of stress and the growth was slow but due to this slow growth the flavor content of the leaves was very high which helped in delivering some of the finest teas.

This Arya Spring China has been manufactured during early March. The lot size is small as this has been manufactured from very special leaves from the highest elevated section of this garden. Very delicate and tender leaves have been processed to deliver this exceptional and rare chinary tea.

The dry leaves are well rolled and finely sorted. They have a bright greenish shade with visible silver tips. The aroma is of roasted nuts and a hint of white flowers similar to night blooming jasmine. When brewed for full 4 minutes, we get a sparkling bright champagne like color liquor which is very aromatic. We get a fine aroma of flowers and mint. The sip starts with the typical chinary taste and as the liquid touches the palate, we get a smooth mouthful floral and vanilla like flavor. We can feel a hint of grassy flavor on the edges of our palate and the sip ends well with no astringency. The brewed leaves are fine green in colour and the aroma has the minty and passion fruit like aroma.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:

Fresh water brought to 1^st Boil (90C). Add 1 tea spoonful (2 grams) per cup of 150ml. Steep for 4 minutes. Strain to cup and sip as it cools. Second and third steep gives best result when steeped for full 5 minutes.
